June 2025
Genoa, June 2025 – At this year’s IIW Annual Assembly & International Conference hosted by the International Institute of Welding, experts from DAIHEN Corporation Japan delivered key insights into their established digital inverter-controlled welding solutions. Dr. Ueyama and Dr. Era presented the latest advancements that continue to define DAIHEN’s leadership in high-performance welding technology.
Representing the company on-site were Holger Garms and Christina Mavropoulou from OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GmbH, along with Alessandro Boccafogli from long-standing partner Govoni G&C S.p.A. – actively engaging with welding professionals from across the globe.
Dr. Era’s technical session highlighted the Welbee control chip, a purpose-built controller designed specifically for welding power sources. As the core component of all DAIHEN digital inverter units, it ensures stable arc performance and consistent results across various welding applications.
🔹 ARXIS Pulse – A versatile power source featuring multiple low-spatter welding modes such as CBT-EX, DC Wave Pulse, and Smart Pulse. Designed for both manual and automated systems, including robotic welding.
🔹 D-Arc – A high-efficiency welding process for thick plate applications. By stabilizing arcs at high current levels, D-Arc reduces the number of weld passes required, increasing efficiency while maintaining weld quality.
🔹 Plasma Jet TIG – An enhanced TIG welding method that utilizes a compact dual shield torch for higher process efficiency with minimal system modifications.
These technologies are well-established in DAIHEN’s portfolio and continue to support users worldwide in achieving high-quality, reliable welds across a wide range of industries – from automotive to heavy manufacturing.
