With the incorporation of Femitec GmbH into the OTC Group, OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GmbH has once again succeeded in improving its production and development through a large intersection of fields of activity and in supplementing it at the decisive points. This is a great step to further establish the position in the European market for industrial robotics and welding system solutions in Europe.

Since 2004 active in robot simulation and from 2011 also with manufacturing, commissioning, programming and maintenance of automation solutions and complex fixture construction, Femitec GmbH has made a name for itself until today and has been working closely with OTC DAIHEN EUROPE as a partner for several years. Due to the almost identical spectrum in the area of turnkey automation solutions, service of robot systems and welding technology, as well as development of software solutions, it was obvious to further improve things like the capacities, the service and the products of the OTC Group in the future with a majority shareholding.

Through the acquisition in 2014 of DAIHEN VARSTROJ in Slovenia, as a welding equipment supplier for the Eastern European region, and in 2020 with LASOtech in Suhl as an automation and laser application specialist, the DAIHEN family has now also been expanded and strengthened this year by another European member. The OTC group of companies is now represented with 6 technical locations in Europe.

On May 2, 2022, the contract for the majority shareholding in Femitec GmbH was signed in the presence of the top management. This was the starting signal for a promising joint future.
