OTC-Daihen Europe introduces Cloud Service: Officially online from April 1, 2025.
Digitalization is reaching a new level in maintenance and service. OTC-Daihen Europe presents the "Service Cloud," a central platform that significantly simplifies maintenance and service processes. The cloud enables secure exchange of machine data, documents, and information, supporting the standardization and automation of workflows, fully aligned with the principles of Industry 4.0.
With the cloud, OTC-Daihen Europe creates a central hub through which service technicians, partners, and customers can collaborate efficiently. This drastically reduces the time spent searching for relevant documents and data. A particular focus is placed on the secure and automatic synchronization between different devices such as PCs, smartphones, and tablets.
Access to the maintenance cloud is designed to be flexible: in addition to web browsers and an app, users can download applications for Android, iOS, as well as desktop apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This not only facilitates access but also guarantees mobility and flexibility.
Another highlight is the use of QR codes, which are attached to equipment or maintenance points. By simply scanning the code, technicians gain quick access to necessary information and can easily store documents and backups directly from their smartphones or laptops. The data is stored in an organized manner in designated directories such as photos, component lists, or service reports.
