Application Technician / Application Engineer (m/f/d)
To support our team, we are looking for a full-time Application Technician / Application Engineer (m/f/d) to join us at our headoffice in Mönchengladbach or in Munich.
Application Technician / Application Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Main Tasks
- Conducting sample welds and feasibility studies in the general automation field (manual/robot)
- Documenting the performed welding tests
- On-site customer visits for error analysis and troubleshooting
- Conducting internal and external basic, advanced, and sensor training sessions on customer robots in both German and English (including creation and maintenance of training materials)
- Performing welding setups on robotic systems at customer sites
- Providing production support at customer locations
- Assisting with robot programming at customer sites
- Maintenance and optimization of the demonstration facility
- Researching new production processes (e.g., 3D metal printing using arc welding)
- Supporting product management
- Preparing materials for sales presentations
Financial Accountant / Financial Controller (m/f/d)
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a welder, technician training, or a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Certification as a welding instructor or welding specialist would be advantageous
- Experience as a trainer, instructor, or coach would be desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical details clearly
- Team player with a conscientious, independent, and motivated working style; customer-focused and flexible
- Quick comprehension and solution-oriented mindset
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient in IT and experienced with standard software (MS Office)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems would be beneficial
- Willingness to travel (no more than 15%)
