OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GMBH

OTC DAIHEN EUROPE GMBH is the subsidiary of the Japanese DAIHEN Corporation and relies on the combined competence of arc welding technology and system integration to further exploit the automation potential in the European business.

Founded in 1982, our service and sales headquarter in Mönchengladbach is where all the threads for robot technology, welding and cutting power sources, and accessories come together. Another important competence is the construction of turnkey automation solutions.

In line with our motto "joining forces", we bring together expertise from a wide range of fields to implement state-of-the-art industrial solutions. Starting with consulting, project development, system manufacturing and introductory training to accompanying service, every section goes hand in hand at our company. Our experts are the link between the manufacturer and the system integrators and welding distributors. The combination of German engineering and Japanese attention to detail and quality assurance creates products that can be used from a small workshop to a large production line.

THE OTC DAIHEN GROUP IN EUROPE

In addition to the European headquarters in Mönchengladbach, we are gradually expanding the network of subsidiaries and locations for specific specialist areas and applications.

The Slovenian company DAIHEN VARSTROJ, located in Lendava, has been part of our OTC DAIHEN family since 2012 and focuses significantly on production tasks such as the manufacture of welding machines, CNC cutting machines and robotic welding and cutting cells, as well as the production of robotic carriages and positioning technology.

With the opening of the branch office in Munich, we opened up the southern German region in 2016. It serves primarily as a showroom where, in addition to welding robots and welding technology, the portfolio of DAIHEN Corporation, such as semiconductor manufacturing or energy distribution systems, is also displayed.

We opened another location with the Democenter in Mainhardt in 2017. This is an application center where a large part of the demonstrations and test welds are carried out. In addition, the proximity to the domestic automotive industry in the greater Stuttgart area increases the attractiveness, as this branch is used as a dedicated training center for OTC service technicians from the surrounding region.

LASOtech Systems GmbH, located in Suhl, Thuringia, has been integrated into our group as an important specialist for robot system integration in 2020. Their core expertise is automation projects in the fields of laser processing, handling, welding and sealing.

With the addition of Femitec GmbH in 2022, our OTC DAIHEN Group can once again expand its fields of activity and rely on Femitec GmbH's expertise in robot simulation, manufacturing, commissioning, programming and maintenance of automation solutions and complex fixture construction.

THE EUROPEAN PARTNER NETWORK

In Europe, too, we remain true to our motto "joining forces". We work with a network of certified integrators and welding distributors in Central Europe. These independently design turnkey OTC DAIHEN automation systems and distribute OTC DAIHEN welding technologies. They also offer in-house training for automation and welding systems as well as comprehensive service by certified technicians for OTC DAIHEN products.

The DAIHEN Corporation was founded back in 1919 in Osaka. Today, with its headquarters in Kobe, DAIHEN employs more than 3,800 people worldwide.
