The WeldUniverse PRO is OTC‘s solution for the automatic documentation and analysis of welding processes. As a comprehensive data management system, it captures key robot and welding parameters in real time, ensuring precise monitoring and traceability – particularly valuable for mass production.
Easy integration into OTC systems.
By integrating the system into the FD1x robot controller as a UserApplication, WeldUniverse PRO monitors both the execution of the robot program and the welding parameters and process itself. Acceptance criteria for each welding operation are directly captured from the active robot program, ensuring optimal quality control.
Dashboard – Central Control and Overview
The WeldUniverse dashboard provides a clear, graphical representation of welding processes and allows for the management of multiple companies and projects in one place. Temporal developments can be analyzed to monitor the consumption of materials such as wire or gas, the number of completed operations, and the efficiency of individual robot cell. A central overview helps analyze all ongoing jobs and involved employees, providing valuable insights for optimizing processes, workflows, and resource consumption.
Data Management – Structured Categorization
Devices: There is an overview page for each robot cell that displays welding parameters, used gas, wire diameter, and other technical information. This allows all participants to trace the process seamlessly.
Products: This section records which product was welded for how long. Barcodes enable unique identification, simplifying later tracking.
Welders: This category shows which employee worked on which project and what the outcome was. This allows for a detailed analysis of performance and process flows.
Reports: All collected information for a project, including barcodes and device numbers, is summarized in report form. Photos and additional files can be uploaded here for documentation, supporting the evaluation of results.
